The IOPES project was presented at the venue of the Escuela Nacional de Protección Civil (National School for Civil Protection) during the info day held in Madrid on February 26th, 2020. During the event, several projects cofunded by the EU concerning civil protection and emergency management such as IOPES (coordinated by the Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC)) were presented to an audience made of collectives interested in these topics and willing to apply for the next call from the Directorate-General Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection (ECHO). The presentations were focused not only on disseminating the projects that were funded during the last call (2019) but also on providing useful information about the lessons learn to obtain funding in this specific call. |
On February 12th, 2020, the IOPES project was presented in Brussels at the European Comission - DG ECHO facilities during the Kick-off-Meeting fro selected projects under the call UCPM-2019-PP-AG. During the meeting, IOPES members had the opportunity to present the project, the main goals and main planned activities together with all selected projects. Interesting and constructive discussions were generated among meeting participants, including DG-ECHO members and selected project participants. During the meeting, the Emergency Response Coordination Centre (ERCC) was visited too. |
